Accommodation | Zambia | Wasa Camp

Wasa Camp lies on the edge of the picturesque Wasa lake, this lodge makes an ideal
starting place for the famous Fibwe sitatunga hide and the rich river floodplains with probably the worlds highest puku densities! Birding on this side of the park is also excellent with many miombo specials nearby.

Open all year, the lodge has 6 ensuite double chalets and one 2-room family chalets all overlooking the lake. It offers game drives, escorted walks and night drives as well as trips to the sitatunga hide just 15 minutes away, where visitors can be sure to find these elusive antelope in the early mornings.

In November and December Kasanka receives an enormous colony of 10 million straw coloured fruitbats. Watching them fly out of the roost near Fibwe into the sunset has been described as one of the world's great wildlife sights.

Testimonials

Had such a great time in Cape Town and absolutely loved Zambia. The falls are just something spectacular! Definitely worth seeing!!!! Got soaking wet though, hehe. I loved the accommodation. Had a river view lodge and loved it! And the people are so nice and friendly. Also met other travelers and just had a really good time. Many thanks for organizing everything and all your recommendations!
