Safari Lodge Zambia | Chamilandu Camp

 

Chamilandu, is situated on the Luangwa River, over looking the Nchindeni hill (fantastic view).  All safari chalets are raised on wooden decks, with open bathrooms.  Rooms are built from grass and reed. Good sightings of leopard, wild dog, for the last 4 years a huge colony of Carmine bee eaters comes in later in the year, opposite the camp.  Last season we also used a boat to get closer to the carmine colony, which worked very well.

• 1 x king and 2 x twins (2 x double beds)
• Wrought iron furniture in all rooms.
• Private decking on each chalet
• Raised chalets all open at the front.
• Generator system that powers a battery that powers the lighting system.
