Chaminuka Nature Reserve is a unique African experience. Twenty-two years ago it was established as a private retreat by a family who lost their heart to the ancient majesty of Zambia and this place, Chaminuka, where the views spread themselves beneath the paths of the mighty, peaceful beasts of earth and sky.

 

Today this luxurious thirty-suite safari lodge welcomes discerning travellers from around the world, who seek excellence and style and an extraordinary chance to commune with nature in all her magnificence.

 

The safari lodge is inspired by the design of an African village spread along the eastern crest of Chaminuka hill; thirteen-suites each with en-suite bathrooms and air-conditioning are elegantly decorated in a fusion of contemporary and traditional African themes.

 

 

Set in the heart of pristine wild landscapes the largest private nature reserve in Zambia.  The safari lodge of Chaminuka commands spectacular views over Chitoka Lake where the full moon gazes at her own reflection. 

 

 

As in African villages, airy lounges in which guests can relax in private, enjoying the glorious panoramic views across Chaminuka; s African Eden, which melts into the wilderness beyond.
