Accommodation | Zambia | Redcliff Zambezi Lodge

Redcliff Zambezi Lodge offers exclusive exposure to the Lower Zambezi Valley.  We are located in a game management area directly east of the Lower Zambezi National Park with no other commercial lodges in the area.  We are able to enter the National Park by boat through the breathtaking Mpata Gorge.  Redcliff's main are superb tigerfishing, game viewing, and bird watching.  Tigerfishing is a wonderfully exciting experience that will be enjoyed by seasoned fishermen and novices alike.

The pristine wilderness surroundings ensure that any visit becomes an unforgettable adventure.  Accommodation at Redcliff Lodge consists of six spacious, en-suite chalets and can accommodate up to 16 guests. Two configurations are available: a 2 bed standard chalet and our 4 bed family chalet.  The rate only excludes drinks, National Park entry permits, if required, gratuities and special tailor-made excursions.

Accommodation rates are inclusive of:

?        All meals.

?        Transfers to and from Luangwa Boma.

?        Laundry service.

?        Sunset cruise.

?        Birding or game walk.

?        Use of a boat for fishing or game viewing in the vicinity of the lodge.

Tailored to the needs of our guests the following excursions can be arranged:

Game walks in the vicinity of the lodge or in the Lower Zambezi National Park.  Excursions to the remains of the slave trade industry in the vicinity of Luangwa Boma on the border with Mozambique are possible.  Redcliff Zambezi Lodge is about 18km upstream from the confluence of the Luangwa and Zambezi rivers where Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe meet opposite Luangwa Boma.  The 325 km drive from Lusaka to Luangwa takes approximately four hours, reasonable roads, including a 96 km trip on a scenic gravel road along the Luangwa River.  Alternatively Luangwa Boma is about an hour's flight from Lusaka or two hours from Livingstone by charter plane.
