At Chiawa Camp accommodation is in large insect-proof safari tents on wooden decks, with canvas flysheets, all with en suite but not enclosed facilities, flushing loos, 2 hour lighting, hot and cold water, electric power for fans and charging batteries, beds with top quality mattresses, and mosquito nets all with wonderful views.    

16 beds for independent travellers in 9 safari tents, or 18 beds on request for Groups in 9 safari tents, plus guide tent.

The Camp - open April 15 – Nov 15: A lovely thatched lounge/bar area with upper & lower viewing decks and lots of comfy furniture is complemented by a similarly styled dining room with al-fresco dining area, set under a large winter thorn tree and overlooking the Zambezi River. Other amenities include a refreshing plunge pool with sun deck for the hot months and a small gift shop with curios, safari wear, film and toiletries.

Activities are led by some of Africa's most experienced guides and guests may choose from day and night game drives, nature walks, game viewing by pontoon boat, canoeing, and fishing (catching and releasing only)
