At Chiawa Camp accommodation is in large insect-proof safari tents on wooden decks, with canvas flysheets, all with en suite but not enclosed facilities, flushing loos, 2 hour lighting, hot and cold water, electric power for fans and charging batteries, beds with top quality mattresses, and mosquito nets all with wonderful views. 16 beds for independent travellers in 9 safari tents, or 18 beds on request for Groups in 9 safari tents, plus guide tent. lovely thatched lounge/bar area with upper & lower viewing decks and lots
of comfy furniture is complemented by a similarly styled dining room with al-fresco
dining area, set under a large winter thorn tree and overlooking the Zambezi
River. Other amenities include a refreshing plunge pool with sun deck for the
hot months and a small gift shop with curios, safari wear, film and toiletries.
